Our registered Charity is in its 23rd year. We have raised more than £190,000 and spent wisely on essential medical equipment and services to improve the quality of life of those unable to find help via more conventional sources.

The "Heart" refers to the compassion and big heartedness of the darts fraternity who never seek (and rarely receive) the accolades they deserve for all the good they do, both individually and as teams.

Jenny is our Appeals Co-ordinator. Joan is our secretary and Ian is Chairman. Ambassador Les Miller is our Thames Valley co-ordinator. Deta Hedmen our new Roving Ambassador , Sue Baker our Charity Support Officer.

Everyone works voluntarily – no wages are paid. Only necessary expenditure is made for things that cannot be obtained by gift or donation. We are a non-political charity and encourage and welcome help from virtually anybody.

The people we help do NOT have to be connected to darts.  The funds  are raised by dart players and supporters, and those that benefit are usually recommended by dart people. Do not be shy in suggesting worthy causes.

We welcome new supporters, after all , we exist solely on contributions and donations. We spend your money wisely and always seek to get the most value from our purchases. Every pound we receive is worth 100 pence, we do not have plush offices , we do not travel in company cars , the trustees pay their own way. So , even buying one or several of our pins, pens and keyrings for £2 each helps build the funds and shows others that you are helping those less fortunate than ourselves.
